  6. Didn't work for me either! A person would think with all these so-called highly educated people in the world, that someone could figure out, how to root the VRUAND3 upgrade!! There is nothing on the web either, I mean nowhere. You can usually find something on the XDA-Developers Forum but they must be off SEDUCING THE DOG somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Did not work for me either.
I downloaded CF-Auto-Root-t0ltevzw-t0ltevzw-schi605.zip which contained Odin 3.07, but I already had Odin 3.9 so I used it.

    I extracted 4_3-I605VRUAND3-ODIN\CF-Auto-Root-t0ltevzw-t0ltevzw-schi605.tar.md5.

Started Odin 3.9 in admin mode followed instructions as stated. Everything went as described until item number 10. I received a FAIL! message. This is what Odin showed:
    Enter CS for MD5..
Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
    Please wait..
    CF-Auto-Root-t0ltevzw-t0ltevzw-schi605.tar.md5 is valid.
    Checking MD5 finished Sucessfully..
    Leave CS..
    Added!!
    Odin v.3 engine (ID:7)..
    File analysis..
    SetupConnection..
    Initialzation..
    Get PIT for mapping..
    Firmware update start..
    SingleDownload.
    recovery.img
    NAND Write Start!!
    FAIL!

    Complete(Write) operation failed.
All threads completed. (succeed 0 / failed 1)

By the way this is what my phone showed after following instructions in step 3:
    (red) ODIN MODE
    (bright white) PRODUCT NAME: SCH-I605
(bright white) CUSTOM BINARY LOAD: No
(bright white) CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
    (bright white) SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
    (grey) KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0
    (grey) RP SWREV: A2

That's all the info I have. Is Verizon or Google or Samsung screwing us again?
