  2. Download Odin 3.07 and extract the Zip file: Odin 3.07.Zip
  3. Now, Switch off your Tablet and boot Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 P5210 into Download Mode by pressing and holding the Volume Down and Power buttons together (long press until the boot screen appear), now press Volume Up key to proceed to Download Mode.
  4. Run the Odin3 v3.07.exe file as an administrator (Right click on the .exe file and click on Run as administrator)

  6. In Odin3 screen, you should see a COM Port number like “0:[COM7]” at ID:COM section and “Added!” text at the message box. This means your device has been detected by Odin3.

    How can I copy the root file to the tablet when it is in download mode?
    Windows does not see the device in downloadmode.
    What am I doing wrong?

    1. im stuck on step 9 the root as been download but my tablet still says downloading do not turn off target ,it won't turn off it won't do computer reconises the tablet but won't open the options where you can vew the files of the tablet. HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Once completed, copy the Root file to Tablet and Reboot in to Recovery by Pressing and holding the Volume Up and Power Buttons together
    Select install zip from sdcard, then choose the root file and flash

    You have to copy it to the root but you have to select it from the sdcard??

    Altho I don't even get the option to chose flash from sd card.

    1. Try using another USB port. Do not use any USB external HUB to connect your device.

  6. Figured it out... I booted into recovery mode but I could not find install zip from SD Card.. HELP!!! Should I reboot?

  7. "Signature Verification failed" message appears after step 11.

  8. The bit it doesn't tell you is.... (I think)... you have to put the root Zip file on a micro SD card and insert that into tablet's Micro SD slot....then you can install from SD Card on the menu.....

  10. Superuser keeps on having errors installing. Keeps saying "There was an error installing Superuser. Please send a log of the error to the developer."
